Day 3-7

Wake up to the magical beauty of Lake Atitlan. Start your day off with 3 or 4 hours of one-on-one Spanish lessons with a phenomenal native teacher. Your lessons will be individually customized to your ability. Afterwards, enjoy lunch with your family and practice your Spanish or even Tz'Tujil (the local Mayan dialect). After lunch you can choose to take a boat ride to Panajachel to do some shopping, play soccer with the locals or relax in this modern day Eden. Before continuing your day with an hour of Conversation Club to enrich your daily Spanish lessons, you may opt to volunteer with Los Ninos de Lago (Children of the lake), to provide educational and social enrichment to the young citizens of San Pedro. Finally, enjoy some free time or participate in daily cultural activities such as salsa dancing, tortilla making, or art lessons.
